KENYA SALAHUDDIN (Steward), Fashion Designer, is the CEO and Senior Lead Designer at KSS Designs an American brand.Kenya's designs are known for their unique and vibrant aesthetic, combining bold prints and colors with clean and tailored silhouettes. She believes that fashion is a form of self-expression and aims to empower her customers to embrace their individuality through her designs.
Kenya was born in Detroit Michigan and lived most of her adult life in the Chicagoland area. Her inspiration and love for fashion started as a young girl watching her mother effortlessly create beautiful designs for family and friends. In addition to her work as a fashion designer, Kenya is also passionate about giving back to her community. She has collaborated with various non-profit organizations to raise awareness and funds for causes such as education, women empowerment, and homelessness.
Kenya also draws inspiration from her African heritage, incorporating elements of African prints, patterns, and textiles into her designs. By blending traditional African aesthetics with contemporary styles, she creates a fusion of cultures that is both visually striking and culturally significant. “Fashion makes you feel good while looking good”.
